Lumpfish What's The Most Expensive Food In The World?

What's the most expensive food in the world? - lumpfish

This type of Almas caviar caviar is known. It is an old albino sturgeon nearly 100 years. This caviar costs $ 25k per kilogram. Food can beat that price?

For my curiosity, is very expensive, beluga caviar and delicious taste better than the low prices? Inexpensive lumpfish caviar at $ 50 per pound.

Caviar is the most expensive food you can buy legally. However, the population of sturgeons in the Caspian Sea is overfished and sturgeon could soon become a sort of, if not already in danger of extinction.
I would almost bet that there are other foods that are so expensive, but they are totally illegal and come from endangered species.
